•  Ski Dimensions are 129-84-113.
•  Side cut radius is 16 meters (174 cm)

The Blizzard Quattro is a newer group of front side skis from Blizzard.  We all spend the majority of our time on groomed snow, so why not own the best ski possible for all those days?  The design of this series started with a totally clean sheet of paper; all the elements of ski design were considered, and engineered for maximum performance.  Construction, sidecut shape, rocker profile, and binding interface are all state of the art.  With the perfect synergy of all these elements, Blizzard brings to the market an amazing collection of skis.

The Quattro 8.4 Ti is the same ski as the top performing, and more expensive RX, but with a slightly different binding system.  It is the widest model in this group of amazing skis.  With a very tight turning radius, wider waist, and lowest rocker profile, it is an absolute killer on steep groomers.  Holds an edge like a Ginzu knife, and is as solid on the snow as any ski money can buy.  With the included binding system, this ski is the best performance value in the Quattro family.

For the skier who wants to ski fast on groomed snow, there is no better choice than the all new Quattro 8.4 Ti.  Groomers are the new powder when you own the Quattro!  Make the most of most of your ski days by having a ski that allows you to ski your best.  Check out the details that make the all new Quattro 8.4 Ti such an amazing ski.
  • 2mm Tip Rocker profile is just enough rocker to make this high performance machine also quite forgiving.  A ski with this much performance would not be possible without modern rocker to eliminate the twitchyness often associated with race type skis.  Even when the groomers get a bit bumpier, a small amount of rocker helps the ski stay in contact better with snow for improved stability.
  • Super short tip shape enhances quickness by lowering swing weight.  With less mass at the front of the ski, it is simply easier to get from turn to turn.
  • Sandwich Construction - The ABS sidewalls act as a suspension system for the edges, keeping them in contact with the snow for a smoother feel and better edge hold.  More edge means better grip on hard snow.
  • Wood core - The best way to build a ski.  Wood absorbs vibration better than any other material, and is super durable as well.  As skis get wider, twisting stiffness tends to get softer, so wide skis don't hold as well on harder snow. Wood cores are torsionally (twisting) stiffer.
  • Two sheets of Titanal add amazing stability and edge hold.  Maybe some day a material will come along that works better than Titanal inside a ski.  But, until it does, this is the premier component if you want a ski that is smooth, stable, and holds on the hardest snow. IQ Suspension consists of short arm that extends forward of the binding, with dampening material sandwiched between the ski and the arm.  This system provides great vibration energy control, for a smooth possible ride and the great edge hold.  Fast feels smooth!
  • Built in IQ binding interface system
This ski is available only with the Marker TPX 12 Grip Walk binding system.  The toe and heel components are Marker's latest designs, as you would expect on a high performance Blizzard ski.  Low profile toe design lowers swing weight, making the ski easier to maneuver around.  Lots of metal components in the bindings construction offer maximum durability and performance on the snow.  Soft entry heel makes stepping into and out of the binding very, very easy.  This binding is compatible with standard Alpine boot soles, and also with the new Grip Walk boots just coming onto the market.  New GW boots now, or later will fit into this binding perfectly.

The IQ binding system is totally integrated into the design of the ski, and is comprised of two different concepts.  (1) The IQ Channel built into the framework of the ski is designed to focus the skiers energy directly to the tip and tail.  The Marker binding slides into this channel, and is held in place by one central screw, which allows the binding toe and heel to float as the ski flexes and counter flexes.  (2) The Suspension Arm is also integrated into Quattro's top structure, with elastic dampening material placed between the arm and ski.  The placement of the arm and dampening material into the forebody of the ski quiets vibration that starts at the tip and travels down the length of the ski.  This IQ Suspension system offers excellent vibration dampening for a nice, smooth ride at high speed.

•  DIN range of 4 to 12  This binding will work for any skier with a DIN setting of 5 or higher.

Sturdy disposable plates that handle real meals without getting soggy
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count, Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
These 9-inch compostable plates are a great option when you want the convenience of disposable plates without the flimsy feel of standard paper ones. The bagasse material gives them a much sturdier structure, so they hold up well even with heavier foods. What I noticed right away is that they do not bend or soak through easily. Foods with sauces, oils, or moisture sit on the plate without making it soft or soggy. Plates made from sugarcane fiber are designed to resist grease and liquids better than typical paper plates while still being biodegradable. The 9-inch size works well for full meals, not just snacks. I have used them for things like pasta, barbecue, and salads, and they held up without needing to double stack plates. They also have a nice natural brown look that works well for casual gatherings, cookouts, or parties. Another plus is the eco-friendly aspect. Bagasse plates are made from leftover sugarcane fibers, which makes them a renewable alternative to plastic or foam disposable plates. It is nice to have something convenient that is also a little better for the environment. Overall these are sturdy, practical disposable plates that actually feel durable enough for real meals. Great for parties, family gatherings, picnics, or anytime you want easy cleanup without using flimsy plates.

ACTUALLY heavy duty
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
These plates are actually better than I expected. I’ve used a lot of disposable plates that claim to be “heavy duty” and then immediately start bending the second you put real food on them, but these feel sturdier than the average cheap paper plate. The 9-inch size is a good everyday size too, big enough for a normal meal without feeling tiny, and I like the natural brown color because it looks a little nicer and less flimsy than plain white party plates. For cookouts, birthdays, quick dinners, or anything where I just do not want extra dishes, these have been really convenient. What I like most is that they feel substantial without being overly thick or bulky. They hold up better than the thin paper plates that get soggy fast, and that matters a lot when there’s anything heavier or messier on them. I also like having a bigger pack on hand because disposable plates are one of those things that disappear faster than you think, especially with kids, parties, or just busy weeks. The compostable part is a nice bonus, but honestly what matters most to me is that they actually do the job and don’t feel like they’re going to fold in half in my hand.

Great Value and Very Durable Plates
Color: Brown, Size: 10 in - 75 count
These plates are a great value for the price considering the quantity and the quality you get. Getting 75 plates at this price point is already a win, but the durability makes them even better. They’re biodegradable, which is a nice bonus, and they’re definitely not flimsy. These plates are stiff and sturdy — I can load them up with a pretty heavy plate of food and they still hold up without bending. They also do really well in the microwave, which makes them even more convenient for everyday use or parties. Overall, a really solid disposable plate option that’s durable, eco-friendly, and a great value.

A bit iffy on these plates
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count, Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
These plates are ok, but certainly not the best I've found. On the positive side, they are what I'd consider "Lunch Size" an are somewhat sturdy. They'll hold a sandwich and chips with little effort so, as a plate, they do... plate. Where I am a bit hesitant is in their molding an construction. You can see in my photos that there is significant staining/watermarking on the plates from the manufacturing process. This could be simply from the way the wet pulp was extruded and formed, but it honestly gives me a bit of the ick. Not that it's particularly gross, but it does make me wonder how sanitary the plates are or what binders might be leeching into my food. In my last photo, you can see a comparison to a compostable plate that I really like. The finish is cleaner and the mold included an inner ridge which gives the plate more stability - making it less likely to flex under weight. Both are sugar cane fiber plates and my preferred plate is a few dollars more expensive for a comparable pack, but the clean appearance and extra rigidity make it worth the added spend in my opinion. Ranking these 3-stars might lead some to think they're bad - and to be clear, I don't think they are. They're just adequate. If you're looking to save a few bucks on a compostable plate, these WILL get the job done. I would just shy away from using them with wet or acidic foods since they don't boast the highest quality of manufacture.

Strong Eco Friendly Plates But Not Great For Hot Food
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
I picked these up because I wanted something more environmentally friendly than the usual plastic or paper stuff. They are made from bamboo and bagasse, and you get a good amount in the pack for the price. For dry stuff like snacks or sandwiches, they are super sturdy and do not bend at all when you pick them up. However, they do not hold up very well when you put hot or wet food on them. Even though they are supposed to be heavy duty, I noticed they can get a little soft if the food is really steaming. They are still perfect for a quick lunch or a party where you want an easy cleanup, but you might want to double them up if you are serving something heavy and hot. The plates are big, and you get quite a bit, making it a really good value overall.
