The pain and heartbreak I have experienced is where Adonai Precious Jewel was birthed. Being transparent is one of the hardest things to do. Simply because we donÕt want to put our business out there. We all have a story to tell. We all have been through some things in our lives that we may be ashamed of or simply donÕt want to or have not shared with anyone. When we look back we know it was no one BUT God that kept us and brought us through those moments in our lives. I have learned that being transparent can help someone for instance to give hope where hope may seem gone. I want to encourage you and let you know that you're not alone. God has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. He is right there Sis, be encouraged and I pray this book serves as an encouragement to you.

I want to share one of many testimonies of what God has done in my life. When I was going through the most difficult time in my life I would run to God in tears and in that place He would meet and comfort me. I found myself writing in my prayer journal where I started to write poems. Many of my poems are personal and many were inspired by what I saw other women go through. A Lot of the poem has to do with a broken heart, healing and serves as encouragement. Many of the poems are based on a broken heart. Let me start by saying we can love a man so much however it does not mean we have to tolerate mess. I always seem to choose men that weren't GodÕs best for me simply because the heart has a mind of its own. There is always a constant war between the heart and the mind. My heart loved hard and wanted to make it work no matter what and at the same time my mind was telling me you deserve so much better than this. I found myself in a relationship that started out as any beautiful love story. He was a man that loved God, however he was in a dark place when I met him with many insecurities and still dealing with things from his past. However, I didnÕt know this right away until time told his whole story. I fell in love with this man however he couldnÕt receive my love due to all the things he was going through internally. I just thought that I was able to help him, not realizing at the time that the only one that could help him is God. I would pray and ask God to help, heal and restore him. In all reality that was the best gift I could
