ESP Custom Shop Alexi Sawtooth is a top tier pro-level instrument built by the ESP Custom Shop in Japan. It is identical model to the one designed and played by one of the most beloved and influential figures in metal music: Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight.

The guitar is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale. It features a three-piece thin u-shaped maple neck with natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, alder body wings, and an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and glow-in-the-dark sawtooth inlays.

Other high-end features on this outstanding guitar include Gotoh tuners, ESP strap locks, and a Floyd Rose Original bridge. A single EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker creates the excellent presence and clarity with a punchy response that you can expect from an Alexi signature guitar. It also includes an ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings and up to +18dB of boost when you need it!

This unique Alexi model is finished in gloss black with luminous (glow-in-the-dark) pinstripes, chrome hardware as well as white bindings on the neck and headstock.

The guitar is set up to your preferred tuning and action before shipping. It comes in a high quality ESP hard case with a certificate of authenticity.
