This rug features a bold geometric design in green, orange and white embroidered onto a plain, brown /flatweave base. Cicim Rugs are a highly appreciated for the skill of the weaver who incorporated the decorative elements to the surface whilst, at the same time weaving the base Kilim. These Kilims are valued for their finely woven, textured or “embroidered” structure and linear / geometric patterns and designs. Cicims are not reversible and, often, one directional. The use of a rug mat or non-slip underlay is recommended to prevent movement on smooth surfaces such as wood or tiles.
