Latin Name : Pogostemon Cablin.

Patchouli Oil is extracted from the Pogostemon cablin plant of the mint family and has a rich musky-sweet, spicy smell. The plant is native to Malaysia and India, where it is known as 'puchaput'. The word patchouli is derived from Tamil 'pachchai ilai' meaning, simply, 'green leaf.' Patchouli oil is extracted from the young leaves, which are dried and fermented before steam distillation. This oil improves its fragrance and power with age. It is much valued in skin care, especially in scar healing.

In eastern countries, patchouli oil is used in potpourris and sachets   between linen and clothes for the fragrance as well as to keep bedbugs and insects away. The oil is said to have a balancing effect on the emotions and create an amorous atmosphere. When used in an oil   burner, it eases anxiety and depression. Used in bath water, it is   believed to help skin and scalp complaints, fungal infections, fluid retention, break down cellulite and ease constipation. It has excellent tissue regenerating properties, speeds up healing and fights infections. Thus, it helps acne, eczema, weeping sores, ulcers, and athlete's foot.

It seems that patchouli was placed between Indian cashmere shawls before being sent to Victorian England, to protect the merchandise from moths. Without this signature smell of dried patchouli leaves, the shawls could not be sold in England. In Europe and America, patchouli oil and incense was immensely popular in the 1960s and 70s among the hippies, since the smell of patchouli covered body odour and the smell of burnt cannabis. Patchouli was used as a hair conditioner for dreadlocks. In many Asian countries, patchouli is also used as an antidote to snakebite.

Great trial set. Just be careful throwing the orange one!
Style: Assorted Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
Blue isn't that easy to see in the yard White charges with bright light/UV and is truly a game changer for night-time fetch. Both dogs clearly favor it. Orange is easy to see in the grass at day They're 3 different weights as well, so double trial. I prefer medium for my big dogs, though light performs well too The orange is HEAVY and unyielding. Do NOT throw it with a ball thrower. It could damage your house or knock your dog out. Seems tough though.

Great Launcher.
Style: 1.7" Ball
It launches balls impressively far, which keeps my pup happily running and burning off energy. No longer having to bend down to pick up slobbery tennis balls! is a huge win! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and surprisingly durable. Highly recommend for anyone with an energetic pup and a desire to keep fetch going without the strain! Just note that it is for smaller sized tennis balls.

Excellent product, but keep it away from chewers.
Style: 2.5" Ball
This is a very strong and effective launcher and could have lasted a very long time had my 9 month old not chewed the ball claw end off. I will buy again.

Our Dog Loves This Ball Thrower So Much
Style: 2.5" Ball
Works excellent for dogs that like to fetch! Our family dog loves this toy. He will bark and jump as soon as he sees us pick it up. The dog next door to us gets excited when he sees us play with our dog with this dog ball thrower. Its that good for dogs who love to fetch and run. Perfect for the young and elderly to play fetch with a pet dog. If you have back or shoulder problems works very well. You don't have to bend down and pick up a slobbery ball. Nope you use this to pick up, grip up and grab the ball. Wish every dog could have this ball thrower in their lives. It has changed the way we play fetch with our dog.
