The Suckie™ suction cup is sunken into the base of the plate and hidden underneath the bowl once it is suctioned to the table, which prevents baby from accessing it and releasing the suction! The nature of suction cups is that they suction best on smooth, clean surfaces! As much as we would like our bowls to work like super glue, some clever babies will be able to unstick them.
