Sugimoto Mirror-Finish Deba KnifeThis is a Deba knife from Sugimoto. Deba knives are used for processing fish, suitable for removing heads and making fillets. This piece is in very clean condition and appears to have seen little use. The water buffalo handle is beautiful, and the flat of the blade has been polished to a mirror finish. A protective blade oil has been applied for storage, so the mirror surface may appear cloudy; a light wash with dish soap will reveal the true shine.
Mirror and semi-mirror finishes are often applied only to part of the blade rather than the entire surface.

Because this knife is finished by hand, some fine scratches or micro-marks may remain.

This knife has a single-bevel Hagane (carbon steel) blade, offering a strong, sharp edge suitable for powerful cutting.
It has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It bears the "杉本" (Sugimoto) engraving.
This mirror-finish Sugimoto Deba is an excellent fish-processing knife for preparing sashimi or sushi at a sushi counter or in a home kitchen, combining professional performance with a refined, polished appearance.

easy to put together, stable and blocks out unwanted eyes.

If you live in a high rise building, or where there is lots of foot traffic and can see in your windows, this is a must have.
It's portable, can fold down one or two walls and easy to move around. Put together once, and block out light and eyes while tall enough to see over. You can fold it up along the wall, and use it to block out the blinds or light when using a projector so that it's darker.
You can use it to partician the room if you share one, and separate your pile of junk from your room so you don't look at it, can take quite a bit of towel weight and clothes and doesn't tip over.
Sturdy bottom metal and easy to put together.
I got the grey one, and glad I did. I use it everyday and is part of my room decor.
I love it, and after using it for a few months it's quite durable.
The quality is there for sure. A tad pricey, but worth it.
Must have for a private person.

Great quality, very versatile

I'm very pleased with this item. It was not complicated to assemble but some items required dexterity and strength. The fabric panels are nice and tight and that's partly why it's a little hard to get that final screw in. I'm very pleased with the legs and the wheels. The metal components are nicely finished and feel substantial and endurable. I can easily fold this so many different ways… I can minimize the number of panels that are seen if desired and it can be straight or accordion. It's very stable which was hugely important to me because I'm fostering many many cats. It's not cheap looking and the light color fabric allows enough light to pass through that it doesn't darken the room substantially. I think the price was very reasonable
