This B&H Kit includes the Manfrotto 405 Pro Digital Geared Head and a 410PL Quick Release Plate . Designed especially for DSLR and medium format camera shooters who need both speed & precision, the 405 Pro Digital Geared Head is a capable three-way head which features bubble levels that may be easily seen in two axes - no matter the orientation of the camera. Meaty rubberized knobs can either completely disengage the gear mechanism for a quick rough estimate of position or offer the finest exacting placement for even a macro shot. Cranks allow 360° pans and +90° to -30° of horizontal or lateral tilt.
An additional Manfrotto 410PL quick release plate is included in this kit as a spare or for rapid changing between two camera bodies.

The Manfrotto 410PL Quick Release Plate is a low profile plate for the RC4 quick release system. It is larger than Manfrotto's standard RC2 system's plate, and it comes supplied with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threaded screws. Its screw travels along a 2" grooved slot, to better accommodate professional cameras of different dimensions.
