This captivating print is a blend of the classic and the fanciful (just like all good stories), and was created using artwork spanning more than three centuries. We layered two stunning 18th century ink-on-silk hanging scrolls from Japan painted with wild plum blossoms, peach trees, magpies, and a luminous moon to create this design, then added other whimsical elements — including Flemish antique illustrations of wild deer, birds, and cranes. The printed trim comes from French silk embroidery fragments from the early 1800’s.
The result is chic, romantic and timeless — and tells a beautiful tale without saying a word ;)
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo).
Machine wash gentle or handcwash and hang to dry.
