Odd that after umpteen years of doing this, I find my first two Formbys in two weeks, both French, and from different sources. This poster for " Spare a Copper " is for the first French release after the 1940 UK release. Formby is the brave but put upon hero saving Britain from the Germans. UPDATE: One of these, in tatty condition, has appeared on French eBay for 1400. Time to grab mine, obviously !
