Sufficient use of PLENTY POCKETS?3 zippered up pockets on the outside.The zipper metal tag is large and easy to grasp. a main compartment ?closed with a single velcro strap ?you could easily insert a composition notebook sideways, and still have a couple of inches of room at both ends.the inside is 16 inches deep by 14 inches wide.At the front, there are two straps for closing. I purchased two pairs of moxie FP jeans on Amazon both on sale. I love how different they are. The paint splatters are just the right amount in my opinion. I think the barrel leg is just wide enough without being obnoxious. I like an oversized look and these were the right price for me on Amazon. I love the rope waistband on these too
