Overview: The Cyprichromis Microlepidotus Kitumba Albino, a jewel of the African Rift Lake Tanganyika, is admired for its elongated body, vibrant colors, and graceful swimming. Reaching up to 6 inches in length, these fish display a striking combination of blues, yellows, and blacks, making them a captivating addition to any aquarium.

Origin: Native exclusively to the deep, rocky environments of Lake Tanganyika in Africa, Cyprichromis Microlepidotus Kitumba Albino has adapted to thrive in the unique conditions found there. Their natural habitat influences both their diet and behavior in captivity.

Feeding: In the wild, they primarily feed on plankton. In captivity, they should be provided with a variety of foods including high-quality flake food, small pellets, and frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp and daphnia to ensure proper nutrition and health.

Tank Mates: Peaceful and schooling by nature, Cyprichromis Microlepidotus Kitumba Albino do best with other non-aggressive Tanganyika cichlids and similarly sized peaceful fish. Avoid housing them with known fin-nippers or highly aggressive species to maintain harmony within the tank.

Aggression: Known for their tranquil demeanor, these fish exhibit minimal aggression, especially when kept in groups that allow for natural schooling behavior. Adequate space and hiding spots can further reduce stress and aggression among tank inhabitants.

Experience Level: Due to their specific water parameter requirements and dietary needs, these fish are best suited for intermediate to advanced aquarists familiar with the care of African Rift Lake species.

Water Parameters:
  • Temperature: 74-79°F (23-26°C)
  • pH: 7.8-9.0
  • Hardness: 10-20 dGH
Proper attention to their environment and dietary needs will ensure that the Cyprichromis Microlepidotus Kitumba Albino thrives, offering an aquarist the pleasure of observing one of Lake Tanganyika's most elegant species in their own aquarium.

Very nice, LOUD toy
Style: Crocodile
My parents' dog had the shark version of this toy already, and I looked to see if there were any other versions of the same toy. I found this crocodile. This thing is hysterical when he plays with it. I think each squeaker makes a slightly different sound, so you can hear him switch from 1 part to another. This is not for you if you like quiet. It is very loud but our dog doesn't like toys that don't squeak. The shark has held up for along time, and the crocodile is doing well so far. He's pretty rough on his toys, but he hasn't torn these or broken the squeakers. The fabric is soft, and it's well sewn. There's no stuffing in the body or limbs, so small holes don't really matter. It's big enough for larger dogs (ours is 45lb). The price was very good for a large toy that's high quality.

It's holding up better than I thought it would
Style: Snake
*EDIT* I originally gave this toy a 1 star rating. I changed that to a 4. Even though my dog immediately put holes in it, it's still holding up. She absolutely loves her Snakey, and takes it to bed with her. She hasn't even chewed the eyes off, like she would normally do. There's even still a piece of the tongue left lol! I gave this to my dog tonight. She's already torn a hole in the tail. I just found a hole next to a squeaker, and she's almost chewed the tongue off. This toy is not durable at all. I do not recommend this for any dog that likes to chew.

Not recommended for an aggressive chewer.
Style: Crocodile, Style: Crocodile
24 hrs. after giving this to my Frenchton, all 3 squeakers were out and disabled, one foot remained, head was half way off, back end was chewed away. This alligator is no match for an aggressive chewer.
