Alejandro Balam Luna Mendoza and his twin brother Salvador Ramon overcame numerous challenges in Xalapa after drug kingpin Headman and the Lords of the Underworld cartel killed their professional ballplayer father before they were even born. Raised by their mother in the home of their grandparents, they grew out among the mountains and trees hunting birds. Although both vowed to take down those ruled by greed and pride, each brother chose a different path in this quest. Sundown honed his skills serving in the Fuerzas Especiales throughout Mexico, while his brother became a lawyer and politician bent on rooting out corruption in local government. Salvador quickly ran afoul of Headman who kidnapped him. Now Sundown uses his skills and natural tracking abilities as a bounty hunter allied with G.I. Joe.
