Obverse: Bust of Claudius Gothicus, radiate,

Claudius Gothicus, radiate, right.

Reverse: Fides, draped, standing right, holding ensign in each hand, one

In Roman mythology , Fides ("trust")
was the goddess of trust . Her Greek equivalent was Pistis . Her temple
on the Capitol was where the Roman Senate kept state treaties with
foreign countries, where Fides protected them. She was also worshipped
under the name Fides Publica Populi Romani ("trust towards the Roman
state"). She is represented by a young woman crowned with an olive
branch, with a cup or turtle , or a military ensign in hand. She wears a
white veil or stola; her priests wear white.

Rome's second king, Numa Pompilius instituted a yearly festival to
Fides, and directed the priests to be borne to Her temple in an arched
chariot drawn by two horses and should conduct Her services with their
hands wrapped up to indicate protection.

Used Watch?
Color: Black/Gray/Digital
The watch is great but the watch had been worn. The protective film was removed and it was loose in the watch box and not on the plastic holder. I bought a new watch not a used one. Joe

My last Timex and why.
Color: Black/Gray/Digital, Color: Black/Gray/Digital
New edit. Upon further reflection, I’ve only had, a couple of exploratory years with Swatch excepted, Timex watches. My first one was when my mother replaced the Chicita Banana “tickity tock” sticker with a real Timex wind up watch before my first Cub Scout camp. In addition to many other Timex products, I’ve had these Ironman watches for the past 25+years. Usually the band wears out and can’t be replaced after three or four years. This particular watch fell apart less than six weeks old. It wasn’t hit by impact. It just came apart while I was driving down the road. I wonder if they’ve changed their manufacturing process. See photo for details. What is truly infuriating is that rather than replacing it, because it is truly a warranty issue, the told me to ship it to their offshore repair facility (which could take 3-5 months) and pay what might be half the value of the watch. Things happen, but the intentional friction they have created to avoid their obligations borders on malpractice and speaks to their indifference toward customer experience and subsequent lifetime value.
