Plump DK (double knitting) yarn is made from the same highest quality, sustainable, superfine merino and baby alpaca as Plump Superchunky and the same beautiful shades. It is incredibly soft and squidgy - absolutely gorgeous to work with and wear.
The kit includes the pattern and 18 skeins of yarn.
18 skeins of Plump DK; 2 skeins in each of the following colours:
*Sugared almond, Peppermint Cream, Pistachio Ice Cream, Gooseberry Fool, Rhubarb Crumble, Raspberry Ripple, Cherry Pie, Damson Jam and Earl Grey.
* PLEASE NOTE:*
The chevron stitch is really simple and ideal for a project if you have never crocheted before... just have a practice at creating trebles and you will be ready to go!
You will also need a 4.5mm crochet hook. The finished blanket measures approx 114cm x 124cm.
Washing
Plump DK is made from the highest quality superfine merino and baby alpaca. These really are special and luxurious fibres and should be treated carefully! Having said that yarn is suitable for delicate hand washing. Use a specialist detergent and do not agitate or twist the fibres to retain the gorgeous softness and shape of your garment.
Shedding
Because of the roving nature of our yarns (they are single ply, rather than tightly twisted), some shedding may occur. The best way to deal with this is spray your finished garment with water and leave to dry flat, naturally before the first wearing. This sets the fibres and should stop any problems.
