It spawned a few different versions, including a Batman version. They were, however, all reskins of the same basic game.Infinity Gauntlet is 'A Love Letter Game' and while it is recognisably Love Letter, it is a different game too. Casting one player as Thanos and one or more as the Avengers, each team has their own deck and player elimination has been taken out of the game as though snapped away by the Mad Titan himself. The Thanos player draws two cards from their deck, and the heroes draw one card each from their shared deck. Thanos always starts the game and turns play out the same way - draw one card and play one card taking the action on the card. The heroes deck is number 1-6 and each number occurs between 1 and 3 times. Numbers may represent different heroes with different art, but the powers are always the same - heroes' 1 cards always do the same thing. Thanos' deck works slightly differently. Again each number can appear multiple times, but it goes up to 7 and in the first 6 numbers appear one infinity stone at each number. Infinity Stones have a slightly better power than the regular version of that number. To win Thanos must defeat a certain number of heroes or have all six infinity stones in out in front of them or in front of them and in their hand. Thanos' deck works as a good indicator of this as it's almost impossible to run through it without winning.The heroes have to defeat Thanos' cards a certain amount of times depending on player count. Infinity Gauntlet puts a thematic twist on the Love Letter formula with huge success. The theme is arguably better integrated and the improvements make it a game you will play multiple times in one sitting.
