Ottoman Pouf – Three-Week Intermediate Series
We are full to the brim with scraps from all the fun projects we’ve been making in the studio, so you know what that means…a scrap busting project! Luckily Closet Core Patterns has the cutest pouf pattern! You can make the pouf as scrappy on the outside as you’d like, utilizing slices of fabric to create a round ottoman complete with piping! You’ll be guided through pouf construction from cutting through finishing, pressing, and closures, with lots of hands-on support throughout.

- Sew an invisible zipper in a curve
Who It’s For
Advanced beginners / intermediate sewists who have made a few projects and are ready for a next-level project. You should feel comfortable sewing straight lines and curves, using a machine independently. This class is listed as intermediate because it has a lot of curves, learning to sew in piping and also sewing in an invisible zipper on a curve.
Materials
Provided: Sewing pattern, sewing machine, sergers, coordinating thread, fabric shears, pins/clips, marking tools, measuring tape, iron, and guidance on choosing fabrics and notions. We also have TONS of scraps to fill the poufs and you can use any for the outsides as well.
Needed: Bring fabric scraps/yardage as desired for the outside. The pattern doesn't say exact yardage but you will need various coordinating fabrics. 2 x piece A, 12 x piece B, 12 x piece C (use a sturdy, medium to heavyweight fabric; you can use lighter weight fabric if you interface them first)
