In Prince of Persia kun je rondlopen, rennen, springen, vechten en de meest waanzinnige trucs uithalen in een enorme open wereld. Verspreid over zes gebieden, bestaat de 'City of Light' uit de City Gate, de Tower of Ahriman, de Queen's Tower, de toren van Ormazd en de Warrior's Fortress. In het begin heb je nog geen toegang tot alle gebieden en speelt Prince of Persia zich vooral af op houten loopbruggetjes, moerasachtige gebieden en kronkelende bospaadjes. Echter, naarmate je verder in de game komt wordt de wereld steeds groter en indrukwekkender, compleet met kastelen, torens en prachtige huizen. Wat gelijk opvalt, is de originele, tekenachtige visuele stijl van Prince of Persia. Heel erg mooi gedaan en het draagt in combinatie met de geweldige soundtrack bij aan de fabelachtige Oosterse sfeer van de game.
Spectaculaire moves
De acrobatische moves van de prins zijn in deze Prince of Persia onovertroffen. Spectaculaire nieuwe bewegingen, zoals een speciale sprong die je alleen kunt uitvoeren met behulp van Elika maken van Prince Of Persia een snelle game die heerlijk vloeiend aanvoelt. In combinatie met de intuïtieve besturing zul je dan ook menig adrenalinekick krijgen als je slingerend en wel de City of Light doorkruist alvorens met een dodelijk snelle combo op een brute manier de vijand uit te schakelen. Het nieuwe gevechtssysteem in Prince of Persia is sterk verbeterd en door de 'drie-knoppen-indeling' is het mogelijk om op een overzichtelijke manier de meest geweldige combo's tevoorschijn te toveren.
De overgang naar een open wereld, de onovertroffen acrobatiek en het unieke gevechtssysteem maken van Prince of Persia een oogverblindend Oosters spektakel dat simpelweg niet in je gamecollectie mag ontbreken!

I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters.
That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception.
SPOILER:
The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured.
I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read

A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.
