Bob Balch is an ambassador of fuzz who churns out sludgy, psychedelic riffage with desert rockers Fu Manchu. Fittingly, Bob partnered with Reverend to create the ultimate fuzz-friendly doom machine: the Reverend Bob Balch Signature guitar. Based on Reverend’s Sensei platform, the Bob Balch Signature guitar is a wicked double cutaway with slick beveled edges, an eye-catching gloss finish, a 3-piece korina set neck, and a pair of custom Railhammer pickups voiced to play nice with fuzzy, buzzy dirt boxes. In true Reverend fashion, the Bob Balch Signature guitar sports a host of hot-rodded features, including a korina body with a strategically placed resonance chamber, Pin-lock tuners, a dual-action truss rod, custom dome knobs, and a rock-solid synthetic bone nut. This iteration, however, also includes a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Pro, equipping you to engage the utmost reaches of sonic expression. Fuel your fuzz passions with this supercharged guitar from Reverend and Bob Balch!

Built for Bob Balch — and you

Based on Reverend’s Sensei platform with the slick contour of a Reverend Daredevil, the Bob Balch Signature guitar features double cutaways, slick beveled edges, a gloss finish, a 3-piece korina set neck, a korina body, and two custom Railhammer pickups voiced to play nice with dirt and fuzz. Like all Reverend signature models, the unique features were added in keeping with Bob’s specs and include a subterranean pickguard chamber for resonance, Pin-lock tuners, a dual-action truss rod, low-profile dome knobs, and a rock-solid synthetic bone nut.

Railhammer pickups optimized for fuzz

Combining tonal tenacity with versatile playability, the Reverend Bob Balch Signature electric guitar begs to be turned up. Two innovative Railhammer pickups are primed for explosive rock tone, with blade magnets under your wound strings for tighter lows and poles under your plain strings for fatter highs. Our fuzz aficionados find these Bob Balch Railhammers perfectly optimized for incredible amounts of gain with resonant articulation for both power chords and single-note fills.

Fine-tune your tone with the Bass Contour control

Guitarists here often wonder why more guitars don't offer a bass roll-off control like the Bob Balch Signature's Bass Contour knob. Dial it back just a bit to tighten up your rhythm tones, or roll it back further to emphasize attack and presence. Or use it in conjunction with the Tone control for mid-focused tones you normally couldn't achieve without an EQ or filter pedal.

Pure Tone jack: gig with confidence

Most guitar output jacks have just one single contact point for your cable's plug, resulting in a common point of signal failure over years of use. That's not the case with the Bob Balch Signature's innovative jack by Pure Tone Technologies, which features dual contact points that firmly grip your guitar cable's plug. The last thing you need when you hit the stage is an intermittent signal caused by a worn-out jack, and that's one less thing you'll need to worry about, thanks to the Pure Tone jack.

Reverend Guitars: expertly crafted and designed with the player in mind

From humble beginnings working out of a Detroit-area garage to worldwide praise and presence on the globe's biggest stages, Reverend Guitars has solidified its place as a reliable source of exquisite guitars and basses. The brainchild of designer and luthier Joe Naylor, Reverend instruments are found accompanying many of today's most influential players, including Billy Corgan, Reeves Gabrels, Meshell Ndegeocello, Bob Balch, and many others. Now based in Toledo, Ohio, Reverend's firm commitment to quality and exceptional tone is found in every instrument, each donning custom-shop components to deliver the purest sound possible.

An excellent story well worth a read
Format: Kindle
This was so well written, I loved every second of it. It was a lovely take on vampires and what they are or can be. Spoilers: This wasn’t an easy read for me. How Miyako’s parents acted… that was my parents only worse in a lot of ways and only better in that they never hit me as an adolescent. So reading this brought up memories of the abuse I suffered. Even so, it is a really good story and I highly recommend. I hope to read more of her stories soon and follow Miyako and see how she and her family grow as characters.

Trans, sapphic vampires?! YES PLEASE!
Format: Kindle
Before I just go recommending this book to everyone, please be in mind that there is misgendering, deadnaming, and slurs pertaining to transgendered people in the book. The author is a trans woman, so all of these instances are addressed on page. I am a lover of all things vampire, and when my kindle recommended this trans, sapphic romance, I couldn't hit the buy button fast enough. Miyako is a trans woman who wants more to life since coming out as trans. The two joys in her life are Luna (her best friend) and River (her sister). Miyako begrudgingly accompanies Luna to see her favorite band, but she doesn't expect to meet actual vampires who agree to turn both her and Luna. After Miyako is turned, she finds herself in a body that finally reflects the way that she has always felt, a burgeoning crush on a gorgeous vampire who hates her, and other lingering dangerous that she didn't anticipate. I freaking loved Miyako. Miyako has always been so sure of herself and her identity regardless of what others think of her, including her trash ass parents that deserve to burn in the pits of hell (sorry not sorry). Miyako also will do any and everything to protect those she loves, which includes protecting her sister River from the bigoted and trashy parents. Found family is the central theme of this book. Once you are turned, you are immediately accepted into the coven of Hell's Redemption, they do ANYHTHING for their own including providing a place to live and protection. I loved seeing this, and this is so important for queer folks who would otherwise have no support system. While this book does have several romantic pairings and soulmates is a big theme as well, the intimate scenes are fade to black, which works for this book (in my opinion). I can't wait for the next book, so I can get more of these amazing characters!

Sure hope there's a sequel
Format: Kindle
This books was lots of fun, with characters to love and hate, though the awful characters aren't around much, thank goodness. The world building is really good, but there's so much more to learn that I hope there's another book in the works.
